Fondazione Fiera Milano has for some years been increasingly committed to social issues and culture through activities and initiatives also designed to support the world of art.

The Acquisition Fund for works of art was established by the Foundation in 2012, as a concrete support towards young artists.

The initiative to purchase works of art as part of miart - International Modern and Contemporary Art Fair, a brand owned by Gruppo Fiera Milano SpA - is also intended to contribute to the support of the exhibition, which represents an important factor of attractiveness for Milan.

The selection of works to be acquired is carried out each year by an international jury coordinated by the President of Fondazione Fiera Milano. The choice of works privileges those of young artists characterized by experimental languages.
